Off to India in almost hours now, instead of days. I'm sure that it will be a mind-expanding experience and I had to take live typhoid vaccine to get there! On many levels, I am looking forward to the trip and on others I am dreading it. Open hearted people, an Eastern culture, multiple languages...with heat, pollution, poverty. Wow. I am so happy I will have Tim around to transition a bit before the real deal hits :D Much respect to you for going first into uncharted waters, TimmaH!!

So...I've decided that since I got Stephen Fry's The Ode Less Traveled, I should write at least a poem a week while I'm there. Get ready for some sonnets! Seriously, though...I know that I have mentioned this to many of you, dear readers, but I am posting it here to keep me honest!!
